It should be no surprise that I search for handmade, simple letterpress cards for all occasions on Etsy, and lately it’s been about the ‘I love you’ message. Why? Also, why do I browse the internet for a card when I can run to any CVS or Walmart? Well there are several reasons:
- We’re a few weeks away from Valentines Day (and I like to do things in advance).
- My two year anniversary (!!) with Al is on February 18th.
- I support independent artists on Etsy.
- I love design.
I’ve found a handful of adorable cards, all minimalistic and simple, just how I like my special occasion cards to be. Bonus points if the inside is blank. See, that’s why I am not a fan of going and buying a Shoebox brand card for example. Sure, some are cute and funny, but the chances of seeing that card elsewhere is high. Buying from designers and independent artists make it a little bit more unique and special. For those of you who like to do things in advance like me, here are my favorite cards so far for this Friday’s find.
